The central Oregon Coast offers a wide variety of restaurants featuring seasonal seafood like Dungeness crab and locally grown ingredients from the Pacific Northwest. From the local clam chowder to the fresh fish of the day (with a waterfront view), there are plenty of delicious options to choose from.

Below is a list of some of the top restaurants from Lincoln City to Florence to help you decide on a place to eat as you travel the central Oregon Coast.

Restaurants in Lincoln City

There are a lot of restaurants in Lincoln City to choose from, so it’s hard to recommend just a few! Here, you’ll find some of the best seafood restaurants on the Oregon Coast as well as some great breakfast spots. 

Wildflower Grill serves breakfast in a homey atmosphere featuring fresh-baked bread and crab cake benedicts. Nelscott Cafe is also a solid breakfast spot and Otis Cafe serves breakfast all day.

Dory Cove is a local favorite on the 101 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices, good food, service and laid-back atmosphere. Stop in at Mr. Bill’s Village Smokehouse for smoked fish and jerky while you’re there.

Kyllo’s Seafood and Grill is a popular spot for fresh seafood in Lincoln City with beautiful views where the D River meets the Pacific Ocean. Be prepared to wait during peak hours.

Don’t miss Yatai Sushi for creative, fresh take-out sushi rolls and poke bowls.

Be sure to pick up some smoked salmon from Barnacle Bill’s Seafood Market before you leave town. They’ve been a familiar local stop for fresh seafood in Lincoln City since 1949.

Blackfish Cafe has permanently closed.

Most of the restaurants in Depoe Bay are located right along Highway 101.  

Tidal Raves Seafood Grill offers outstanding views of the ocean, fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and fish dishes.

Gracie’s Sea Hag has been a beloved local seafood spot since 1963 and is known for their clam chowder. They also serve hearty breakfasts.

Bay View Thai Kitchen is a family-owned casual spot on the harbor serving warm and spicy curry, noodle and rice dishes plus Thai specialties like seafood curry served in a young coconut.

For upscale fine dining on the Oregon Coast with a gorgeous view of Whale Cove, Restaurant Beck at the luxurious Whale Cove Inn serves locally sourced seafood with fresh ingredients from local farms.

There’s no shortage of restaurants in Newport and here you’ll find some of the best restaurants on the Oregon Coast, especially for fresh seafood.

Local Ocean Seafoods is highly acclaimed for sourcing its catch directly from the local docks. They also have a fish market across the street, selling the freshest catch of the day from local fishermen.

Georgie’s Beachside Grill offers some of the best dining on the Oregon Coast and recently earned a Tripadvisor 2023 Traveler’s Choice Award as one of the best casual dining spots in the entire United States. Enjoy ocean views and expertly prepared seafood entrees including fresh halibut, salmon, Yaquina Bay oysters, Dungeness crab and more.

Clearwater Restaurant features an upscale menu with an unbeatable view of the bay and sea lion docks.

Local craft beer and hearty pub fare is on the menu at Rogue Ales & Spirits, a two-story brewpub overlooking Yaquina Bay. You can also visit Rogue Bayfront Public House across the bay where the original brewery used to be. 

Newport Brewing Company also offers local beer and burgers and Bier One Brewing is another popular local beer spot.

For breakfast, La Maison is a small establishment but a beloved spot amongst locals offering pastries, omelets, crepes and a variety of other house specialties like smoked salmon benedict on homemade English muffins.

The Central Coast Food Trail connects visitors to the local cuisine of the Central Oregon Coast. There are 35 stops including bakeries, restaurants, farms, markets, breweries, distilleries and seafood stands.

🍞 Pacific Sourdough in Waldport is a popular hometown bakery with limited hours and a line out the door. Be prepared to wait, but the rewards are worth it.

Hilltop Cafe and Bistro is one of the more popular restaurants in Waldport and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees including seafood, steak and pasta.

Luna Sea Fish House in Seal Rock is the spot for fish n’ chips, clam chowder and fish tacos (there is also one in Yachats).

There are plenty of good options for dining in Yachats, whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or the freshest catch of the day. Many of the best restaurants in Yachats offer locally sourced food with organic ingredients. 

Update: As of March 15, 2024, Yachats Brewing + Farm Store is listed as temporarily closed. 

Beach Street Kitchen serves breakfast all day and offers a variety of sandwiches, paninis, burritos, tacos and more. 

Bread & Roses Bakery makes fresh breads, pastries and pizza with local, organic flour. Go early for the best selection!

Luna Sea Fish House is the spot for crispy fried fish n’ chips and a comforting bowl of chowder.

For casual upscale lunch and dinner, Ona Restaurant and Lounge serves locally sourced, fresh seafood and gourmet Wagyu burgers. Reservations recommended, walk-ins welcome.

For the best dining in Florence, just head to Old Town and walk around to check out what’s on the menu or take a stroll along the river after dinner. Just head down Bay Street for a great selection of some of the best restaurants in Florence and take your pick. 

Nosh (seasonal Northwest cuisine), Mari’s Kitchen (seafood, sandwiches, pasta) and 1285 Restobar (Italian and pizza) are all right next to each other on Bay Street.

Waterfront Depot Restaurant is a favorite dinner spot in Florence with riverfront views and delicious food, cocktails and desserts.

The Pono Hukilau offers creative sushi and Pacific fusion specialties in a laid-back-surf-Tiki-inspired casual spot.

For a solid breakfast in Florence, The Little Brown Hen serves up hearty steak n’ eggs, benedicts and plate-sized pancakes.
