Summer in Oregon seems to come and go in the blink of an eye. July and August are the two warmest and driest months of the entire year in the Pacific Northwest, so it’s no surprise that people head to the coast to soak up the sun and spend their summer vacations frolicking on the beach.

Although temperatures rise in summer, it still stays pleasantly mild on the coast compared to hotter inland areas. This makes the Oregon Coast a popular destination to beat the summer heat.
