The 47th Annual Newport Seafood & Wine Festival starts today, February 22, and runs through Sunday, February 25. The event is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the central Oregon Coast for local cuisine, wine, live music, a chowder contest and more.
More than 50 Pacific Northwest wineries will be represented along with some of the best local seafood on the Oregon Coast, creative goods by local artisans, a beer garden, live music and a juried chowder-making competition.
