Every summer, the entire Oregon Coast lights up with local festivities, small-town parades and other Independence Day celebrations. It’s a long-standing Oregon tradition to make a bonfire on the beach and watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. For those who wish to avoid fireworks, some coastal towns have recently opted to offer fireworks-free July 4th drone shows as an alternative.
